One deception changed Adam & Eve’s world
One couple ate the fruit and the plan unfurled
One Satan used a snake whose curse was to crawl
One perfect couple lost Paradise, lost it all.
One spat of jealousy put Abel in the ground
One I Am came calling only Cain was found.
One baby saved from Pharaoh’s decree
One basket floated the way a slave a prince to be.
One promise made to forever redeem man,
One act of obedience nailed to the His cross, feet and hands.
One thought of me and my ugly soul
One plea from me later and I was made whole.
One Savior, one Gift, one eternal offering
One Virgin, one truth, one chance and one King,
One city, one stable, one miracle ahead
One person at a time saved from Hell’s flaming bed.
One Spirit, one Father, one Son
One crucifixion Jesus said it was done
One prayer from each heart from all who believe
One soul seeking God by grace is relieved.

One baby, born to earthly parents of little financial worth grows and up as a carpenter’s son. One man who willingly laid his life down for humanity to heal the broken relationships between God and His creation in a brutal death with great pain. One baby, one God. One sacrifice. Millions of redeemed souls and counting. Never underestimate the power of One.

One spark burns a forest.
One note composes a song.
One word begins a story.
One inch can seem so long.
One pebble begins an avalanche.
One flame will light the way.
One seed produces acres.
One sunrise starts the day.
One friend can wipe out loneliness.
One hand can help a Brother out.
One mouth can praise or curse.
One assurance wipe out doubt.
One stroke paints a masterpiece.
One moment changes course.
One child joyifies the barren.
One stream the oceans source.
One voice can call for others.
One insight ignorance arrest.
One prayer can move mountains.
One weary can find rest.
One Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
One sacrifice covers sin.
One man’s death upon a cross.
One resurrection and Satan doesn’t win.
One can be so powerful.
One can be the change.
One can make it right.
One hatred for love exchange.
One you one me one him one her.
One man one woman one child.
One whisper one breath one exhale.
One shifted boulder move a pile.
One question then remains.
One query must be asked.
One pen poses one thing.
One are you for the task?
