Jesus, You are my Redeemer,
A fact I cannot escape,
Nothing I could ever do
Would pay the debt I owed,
My sins, my costs still due.
Then You came most humbly,
The Son of God, Lord Almighty,
You said I’ll pay the price,
For everyone who will accept
The gift of You, Jesus Christ.
You paid that price
Upon a cross, mocked and shamed,
Bleeding from the nails, the stripes,
Willingly You gave up Your spirit,
My Redeemer You became.
My Redeemer, O Redeemer
You paid the price for me,
A gift I can never hope to repay.
My Redeemer, O Redeemer,
What love Your act did say.
