Abba Father,
Jehovah-Shammah–
Staring across the dark horizon
What’s in the darkest darkness
Is heard
Is smelt,
Even if the water I see is black and white,
The waves breaking on sandy shores
In and out
Over and over,
The sea itself praises You El-Shaddai
A voice sings praise melodies You hear
In gratitude
In adoration
The sea’s waves are worshipping You
Though I sense it, it is just beyond
The surface
The sea misted veil!
If all creation calls Your name El-Elyon
How can I be silent or selfish?
Or blind?
Or ignorant?
My heart lifts and joins the symphony
As all creation worships their Creator
Designer
Master and Lord.
For I cannot withhold my gratitude
That You’ve given me life another day,
Jehovah-Jireh
Jehovah-Rapha
You are the Way, The Truth, The Life
Accept the praises of all Your creation
Jehovah-Yahweh
